Loria Perez is a community gun violence prevention advocate. This mother of 4 boys have been spreading love and bringing awareness to senselessness of city gun-violence. After having 2 sons being affected on April 30, 2017; one losing his life to gun violence and the other being the surviving witnessing of his brother assignation. 

She’s the CEO/Founder of galvanizing movement called J.U.M.P (Jesus use me please). Her partnerships include Moms Demand Action and Bullets 4 Life Indiana.

D. Malone's a nail enthusiast, who serves in her community. A Licensed Nail Stylist, INM Nails Educator, Nail Instructor and Owner of D's on the Spot Nails and the visionary behind Tip Tuesday’s and host of “On The Spot Talk.”

EP 6.5.19-What is a Trauma Informed Educator

 Addison Duane is a research-loving elementary school teacher in Oak Park, Sacramento. She has taught all K-6 grades (except 1st!) and served a school site as an instructional coach and new teacher mentor. The entirety of her educational experience has been with trauma affected students. This fall, she will embark on a new learning journey as the first educator in the nation to pursue a PhD in Educational Psychology with an emphasis in trauma responsive practices at Wayne State University.

Peggy Haymes embraces the mission of changing that conversation for women in midlife. She brings a rich background of training and experience to the work of coaching and supporting women in midlife. For over thirty years she’s served as an ordained minister. For over a dozen years she’s worked as a licensed counselor. She trained, apprenticed, and later worked with the staff of Elisabeth Kubler-Ross, international pioneer in our understanding of grief.

Ilana Shapiro Yahdav, MPA 

In 2007 Ilana lost her father to cancer, the day after her twenty-fourth birthday. His parting words were, "time is non-linear, and I'll always be with you.


She found some healthy outlets for her grief including starting a memorial scholarship fund, in her father's name in which she raised over $92K! She also ran the NYC Marathon.   

Ilana is an Advanced Certified Grief Recovery Specialist ® and founding of her grief recovery practice, The Non-Linear Journey.

Dr. Virginia Whitmore Price is a Board Certified Staff Chaplain at Northside Hospital in Atlanta. GA. and a Ordained Minister of the Gospel at Berean Christian Church-Gwinnett in Snellville. GA. She serves in several ministries there and gives leadership to Griefshare is a national bereavement support ministry to help people face challenges and move toward rebuilding their lives. She is also the President and CEO of N.O.W. No Other Way Outreach Ministry  and author of Wisdom Nuggets!

Dr. Susan Clark is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). Her Doctorate is in Christian Psychology. She is the Founder and Owner of Clark & Clark Counseling Center, LLC, located 30 minutes from Great Atlanta. Dr. Clark realized her calling was to minister to the wounded and brokenhearted Spirit after numerous strangers would approach her in public places and start conversations to share personal private information with her. She’s been ministering to others for the past 20 years.

Cleveland Robinson is a artist, entrepreneur and a Licensed Professional Counselor, LPC., advocating global mental health and male empowerment. He's the Founder & CEO of Robinson House Behavioral Health in Lancaster, Texas. Through Robinson House Behavioral Health, he serves clients with  various mental health diagnosis of all ages with a special emphasis on African American male adolescents. These services include individual counseling, family therapy, assessments and post dating stress symptoms."

After the suicides of a close friend and a former fiancé within a two-year period, her thought was there had to be a better way. Because of her resilience, Sharon Ehlers is the is the founder of Grief Reiki®️. She’s also an Advance Recovery Specialist, Master Grief Coach, Death Midwife and Reiki Master Teacher. She’s the author of Grief Reiki®️-An ntegrates approach to the Emotional, Physical and Spiritual Components of Grief and Loss and is co-author of Grief Diaries: Surviving Loss by Suicide.

EP 2.4.19 How To Heal By Being Your Own Grief Expert

Cathy Cheshire and her husband loss their only two children at ages 16 and 29. Cathy authored “Thriving After the Death of a Child” which is available on major internet bookstores. She summarized top grief expert findings in an education module called "Understanding Grief and Loss.” She founded the “Certified Master Grief Coach” online training program.
